The KNOWnet Stack

1. KNOW Browser/Extension

The stand-alone browser that will allow resolving of the .metaverse domains and experiences. The Google Chrome browser extension that will allow resolving of the .metaverse domains.

     1.1 User

Multiple user access points with simultaneous input to the first layered dApp, having a multisig. identity going further than SSO access points

     1.2 KNOW Wallet seeded with KNOW for KNOWnet fees

The KNOW Token is a core component of the KNOW Metaverse platform. It has a wide variety of applications within the platform, including participating in instruments backed by the token, staking, or voting for platform changes. In order to perform those operations, the token depends heavily on interactions with other platform contracts.

2. KNOWnet ChainBridge

The dApp portal which handles the multiaccess points to ensure different digital assets are handled accordingly to fund and distribute tokens across the network

     2.1 Fee Managers

Placement of fee managers ensure that the gateway consistent has the proper structure to capture all inbound and outbound transactional costs

     2.2 Token Wrapper

Capturing different digital assets and making them compatible with the desired blockchain. Moving from ETH to wETH existing on the Polygon blockchain as a main example.

3. Polygon Blockchain

A cutting edge blockchain protocol that properly scales the Ethereum blockchain with speed and tactically reduces the cost and complexities of transactions on blockchain networks.

     3.1 MNS

The MNS Smart Contract and dApp layer are what allows creation and management of the .metaverse domains. This is currently deployed and being tested on the Polygon Network.

     3.2 Tracker, Smart Contract/Ledger of IP Addresses

Keeping a live-immutable record of what IP addresses are put in place to ensure high fidelity access to the blockchain.

4. dApp

decentralized application that sits on the blockchain, the dapp architecture is populated through out the entire KNOW Foundational technologies with the main idea of 'dApps all the way down'.

     4.1 SDK

The tools in which all developers and artist of different levels can contribute to the foundational look and feel of each metaverse instance they work with.

5. KNOWnet Server

The KNOWnet Server is a custom software that will be distributed for all the participants to contribute their computing resources to the KNOWnet. This packaged app will be run on servers and report the accessible public IP address to the Tracker Smart Contract, alongside any relevant meta-data. This Server will expose services such as File System, WebRTC, Game Server, and Database for the KNOWnet users to be able to leverage through the .metaverse SDK. The server will also contain a reporting and rewarding mechanism.

     5.1 Session Manager

Grouping common interactions on the server while making it easier to save, update, restore and more.

     5.2 Dynamic Update Client

Constantly checking IP addresses for state changes while automatically updating the DNS at No-IP whenever it changes

     5.3 Reward Manager

Captures the instruments' metered reading of each service and convert that into a tangible reward that is spread across to every user in participation of the network.

     5.4 Proof of Contribution Auditor

A crawler of types that accesses the measured participation and contribution in order to properly verify that in fact there was correct use and balance of the resources provided to the network

     5.5 State Server/Game Server

Existing users and players, depending on the context of environment will have a dedicated server which is the authoritative source of events in a multiplayer environment. The server transmits enough data about its internal state to allow its connected clients to maintain their own accurate version of the game world for display to players.

     5.6 Database

Storage of hybrid files that will live in a Web 2.0 styled database. We will migrate this when possible.

     5.7 File Server

For storing and sharing data in a distributed file system. Using content-addressing to uniquely identify each file in a global namespace connecting all computing devices.

     5.8 WebRTC

The open-source project by providing web browsers and mobile applications with real-time communication via application programming.

     5.9 Inference

Inference serving software that helps standardize model deployment and execution while delivering fast and scalable server solutions.

     5.10 CDN

A geographically distributed network of proxy servers and their data centers. The goal is to provide high availability and performance by distributing the service spatially relative to end users.

a server application that acts as an intermediary between a client requesting a resource and the server providing that resource.
